As a member of Point72's Technology team, we encourage and support your professional development from day one-helping you advance your technical skills, contribute innovative ideas, and satisfy your own intellectual curiosity-all while delivering real business impact for our multi-billion-dollar global business.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Proactively identify and resolve highly complex and business-critical production issues with urgency by diagnosing root causes, coordinating fixes, and keeping stakeholders informed through completion
  • Monitor mission-critical workflows, data feeds, and scheduled processes to ensure service levels are met throughout the trading day
  • Analyze application and data issues that affect financing, margin, and borrow activity, and drive timely remediation with technology partners
  • Partner with development teams to translate recurring support themes into clear requirements, priorities, and durable platform improvements
  • Support Margin and Stock Loan teams by ensuring applications, reports, and data flows are available and accurate
  • Coordinate application releases by validating changes, completing post-deployment checks, and confirming production readiness with business users
  • Improve support processes by creating runbooks, strengthening controls, and identifying opportunities to reduce manual intervention
  • Collaborate across global Technology and Treasury teams to support business continuity, incident response, and reliable service delivery
  • Provide off-hours support, including weekends, as required

WHAT'S REQUIRED
  • 5+ years of industry experience in a front-office support role
  • Bachelor's degree or formal training in computer science or a related technical field
  • Strong understanding of fixed income products and financial markets workflows
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, time-sensitive environment
  • Proficiency in database querying for data analysis, troubleshooting, and production issue investigation
  • Coding or scripting skills to support automation and problem resolution
  • Working knowledge of desktop operating environments and database-backed applications
  • Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and problem-solving skills in production technology environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to support both business users and technology partners
  • Develop support processes, documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards

WE TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLE
We invest in our people, their careers, their health, and their well-being. When you work here, we provide:
  • Fully-paid health care benefits
  • Generous parental and family leave policies
  • Volunteer opportunities
  • Support for employee-led affinity groups representing women, people of color and the LGBT+ community
  • Mental and physical wellness programs
