Job description

STRIDE is a boutique treadmill studio experience that is here to reinvent the definition of a runner. Coached running classes are led by expert trainers in a supportive and empowering environment with state-of-the-art equipment and electrifying music. STRIDE aims to create a space where running is understood at all levels to be an essential mode of fitness and recognized by everyone as one of the easiest, most engaging, and most effective ways to achieve mental & physical goals.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to get in on the ground floor with our team and help us to share the STRIDE brand and experience to all people, everywhere.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of 24 clients
  • Energize and motivate clients throughout class
  • Build STRIDE class attendance and retain current clientele
  • Coach proper running technique to ensure clients have a safe and positive experience
  • Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations including, but not limited to trainings on The Starting Line or any required continuing education
  • Handle member concerns when applicable
  • Assist sales associates, Head Coach and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed
  • Set up treadmills and explain class format for prospects and new clients
  • Coach own classes and keep subbing to a minimum
  • Maintain strong social media presence to increase class following

JOB REQUIRMENTS:
  • Love of boutique fitness is a must - passion for running is a STRONG plus
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, FUN environment
  • Ability to create a high energy, positive environment that welcomes all people
  • Fantastic communication that exudes energy AND empathy
  • Must love connecting with people and have passion for helping them achieve goals
  • Passion for having fun daily and making every customer excited to get on the treadmill
  • Must exude charisma, awareness & thrive in a group environment
  • Must attend designated Stride classes per week
  • Coaching experience preferred
  • Certified Personal Trainer certification required
  • Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification

COMPENSATION:
  • Minimum $38/class with potential up to $66/class (dependent on class capacity, experience, etc.)
