We're hiring right now for a Advertising Manager! Search for #Travelport on LinkedIn and hear from our amazing team.

How you'll make an impact:

The Advertising Manager plays a critical leadership role in scaling Travelport's global advertising business. This position leads the Advertising Media Planning team, responsible for transforming advertiser objectives into high-performing, multi-platform advertising campaigns that deliver value to customers and revenue growth to Travelport.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining people management, operational excellence, strategic planning, and cross-functional influence. You'll drive process rigor, optimize systems from quote-to-cash, and partner closely with Sales, Product, Technology, Finance, and Business Intelligence to ensure flawless campaign execution and continuous innovation.

If you're energized by building teams, improving systems, and operating at the center of digital advertising, travel technology, and platform monetization-this role offers meaningful impact and visibility.

Your role in action:

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a global Advertising Media Planning team across AMER, EMEA, and APAC.
  • Set clear goals, performance standards, and development paths to foster engagement, accountability, and growth.
  • Build a team culture grounded in collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Advertising Operations & Media Planning

  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of advertising campaigns, including:
    • Media planning and campaign design
    • Inventory forecasting and optimization
    • Rate management, quoting, contracting, and order management
    • Campaign execution, reporting, and performance analysis
  • Ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, on time, and with high quality across all platforms.

Process, Systems & Scale

  • Design and implement scalable processes that improve speed, efficiency, and margin across advertising operations.
  • Partner with Product and Technology to optimize tools, workflows, and quote-to-cash systems.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce operational friction while supporting revenue growth and media performance.

Cross-Functional Partnership

  • Act as a key operational partner to Advertising Sales, enabling sellers with tools, insights, and resources that support deal velocity and effectiveness.
  • Work closely with Finance, Billing, and Collections to ensure accurate invoicing, compliance, and revenue recognition.
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Sales to expand advertising real estate, unlock new inventory, and improve media ROI.

Market & Industry Expertise

  • Maintain a deep understanding of:
    • Travel advertising trends and competitive dynamics
    • GDS platforms and travel distribution models
    • Digital media performance, pricing, and measurement
  • Translate market insights into actionable recommendations and competitive responses.

Could this be you?

  • 5+ years of experience in advertising media planning, ad operations, or contract management, preferably in digital, travel, or B2B technology environments.
  • 2+ years of people management or team leadership experience.
  • Proven ability to execute complex, multi-market advertising campaigns with operational rigor.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience influencing and collaborating with Sales, Product, and Technology teams.

Industry Experience (Preferred)

  • Background in travel, travel technology, GDS, digital advertising platforms, or marketplaces.
  • Familiarity with performance reporting, ROI analysis, and advertising monetization models.

Personal Attributes

  • Confident leader with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
  • Collaborative, solutions-oriented, and detail-driven.
  • Able to balance strategic thinking with operational execution.

Team Culture & Why You'll Love It Here

  • A highly interactive, globally connected team with an "all-in" mindset.
  • A culture that values accountability, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
