Hourly Rate: $31.60 Hourly wage: $31.60 JOB SUMMARY Manages and coordinates activities of employees providing reservations and customer services. CORE WORK ACTIVITIES • Assist GM with budgeting, forecasting, and hiring, retaining and developing reservations and customer service employees and leaders. • Manage reservation department. • Manage systems that are set up within the reservations department to ensure accurate handling of phone calls. • Tracks daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly statistics for analytical, budgeting and forecasting purposes. • Maintain department approved quality assurance program to include, but not limited to, rates, deposits property descriptions, activity tables and reservations letters. • Responsible for accurate input of owner calendar information into appropriate system, equalization of all rental nights for all owners • Receive contracts detailing room allotments and inputs information into hotel computer system • Delegate the training of clerks in taking reservations and operating computer terminals and printers to store and receive reservations data. • Manage reservation function to maintain the highest possible room occupancy and average daily rate through suggestive selling by teammates. • Ensure acceptable service levels and abandon rate statistics are sought and maintained. • Cover shifts at the Front Desk when business demands rise and staffing needs increase due to teammate absences. • Ensure payment is taken on all prepaid reservations (Expedia, Hotwire, Travelocity, Orbitz, Etc.) • Ensure that GSA clerks are trained on building reservations and checking availability. • Perform other duties as assigned. #imvwro Marriott Vacations Worldwide is an equal opportunity employer committed to hiring a diverse workforce and sustaining an inclusive culture.
