Job Description Summary

"Please Note: This position is based out of our Mandeville, LA location. We are actively seeking candidates from Elmwood, Kenner, and the surrounding Southshore areas who are interested in a convenient reverse commute across the Causeway!"

Important Requirements (Before you apply)

  • Must live within a commutable distance to Mandeville, LA
  • Must be able to flexible to Travel for work when needed (Usually gone Monday through Friday for out of town work) Sunbelt will provide Travel and Hotel accommodations as well as food and expenses per diem for all overnight travel.
  • Must be 21 or older with a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
  • Must be able to pass a pre employment drug test along with random drug test and DISA sites Hair follicle drug test that goes by 3 months)
  • Must be able to pass a pre employment background check.
  • Must be able to bend, squat, crouch, reach and lift 50 plus pounds

Position Objective:

As an entry-level Field Installer reporting to a Field Supervisor, you will play a hands-on role in the delivery, layout, assembly, maintenance, and teardown of large temporary fabric structures and tents. In this dynamic position, you will prepare rental equipment, unload supply trucks, and safely operate basic tools and lift machinery to construct secure structures according to CAD diagrams and manufacturer specifications. Working closely with your team, you will ensure all installations are completed efficiently, keep job sites clean and hazard-free, complete inspection paperwork, and strictly adhere to all company and government safety regulations.

The Ideal Candidate would have the following experience

  • Any experience building or construction of any kind of structures
  • Extensive experience using Hand Tools & Power Tools
  • Experience operating forklifts and Man lifts
  • Experience hauling some kind of trailer behind your personal or work vehicle
  • Experience reading Blueprints
  • Have had a Previous job where you have worked out doors fulltime.
  • Have had a Previous job travelling for work before
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic mathematic skills
  • Construction experience-Preferred
  • TWIC Card not required but a Plus

Certifications on the job:

  • Tenting 101 - The Basics of Temporary Structures (Provided in house, not by a third party)
  • General Construction Site Safety - OSHA Basic Plus
  • Federal Background Check - TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential)
  • OSHA Operators Training on All-Terrain - forklifts, platforms (man lift, scissor lift directly) - Sunbelt, United, Registered Behavior Technician
Base Pay Range: $18.99 - 27.30
