A traveling videographer is a professional who creates video content while frequently moving between locations, often documenting events, destinations, or stories around the world. Their work can include filming travel documentaries, promotional videos for tourism boards, weddings in various destinations, or content for social media and YouTube channels. Traveling videographers are responsible for shooting, editing, and sometimes producing the final video product. They must be adaptable, creative, and skilled in using video equipment on the go. This role often requires excellent organizational skills to handle logistics, travel arrangements, and client communications.

What does a traveling videographer do?

As a traveling videographer, you capture video footage in various locations. Your responsibilities vary depending on the nature of each assignment on which you work. Traveling videographers often work in areas such as travel, adventure, destination weddings, or sporting events. You may also film content for marketing purposes. After you use your camera to record the necessary video, you ensure that footage is of acceptable quality and later use software to edit it. In this career, you can work with a production team or operate independently and handle lighting and audio duties as well.

To thrive as a Traveling Videographer, you need expertise in video production, editing, and storytelling, often supported by a portfolio showcasing your work. Mastery of cameras, editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, and familiarity with drones or gimbals are typically required. These abilities ensure high-quality content creation while navigating the challenges of travel-based assignments and tight deadlines.

Traveling videographers often encounter challenges such as unpredictable weather, limited access to power sources, and quickly changing shooting environments. OUR CULTURE
Our Purpose is to “Redeem the lost, unclaimed, and rejected for the glory of God.” As a lost

and has guided our decisions for over 55 years. Integrity: Do the right thing.

behavior each and every day, which is why we call them Values in Action. They are:
• Excellence: Always reach for better.
• Humility: Listen and learn.
• Service: Help others win.
• Teamwork: Grow stronger together.
• Gratitude: Choose to be thankful.
