Behavior Technician / RBT (Paid Training Provided)

Role Overview

  • Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (Minimum 20 hrs/week)
  • Location: Fountain Hills, AZ & Surrounding Areas (In-Person / Clinic / School / Community)
  • Experience Level: Entry-Level to Mid-Level (No prior RBT license required we pay for your training!)
  • Special Perk: Official ASU Master's Practicum Site (Free, unrestricted supervision hours with NO employment strings attached!)

Key Responsibilities

  • 1:1 Direct Therapy: Provide individualized 1:1 behavioral intervention to children, teaching essential communication and daily functional skills.
  • Play-Based Learning: Engage clients through natural environment teaching and play-based learning activities.
  • Data & Documentation: Track progress using digital data collection software and submit detailed session notes in a timely manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervising Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), team members, and family stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Age & Education: Must be at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 6+ months of experience working with children (e.g., childcare, tutoring, summer camp, or special education) is preferred.
  • Certifications:
    • Active RBT Certification is a plus, OR willingness to complete RBT training within 45 days of hire (paid course provided!).
    • Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by AZDPS (we can assist you in obtaining this).
  • Skills & Physical Requirements: Strong communication and time-management skills. Must be physically able to play with children on the floor, move quickly, and lift up to 40 lbs.
