JOB OVERVIEW
As a Field Service Technician, you will collaborate with our team to perform on-site installation of Robinson-manufactured enclosures. Your responsibilities will include installing enclosures, diagnosing and resolving issues, and conducting on-site repairs. The ideal candidate will be skilled in using power and hand tools for equipment installation and enclosure assembly, while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and high-quality work.
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES (includes but not limited to)
  • Ensure a safe work environment by strictly following all site and Robinson safety protocols.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of Robinson's scope of work and responsibilities.
  • Conduct on-site installation of enclosures and related components.
  • Diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Comply with all company and onsite procedures and guidelines.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and equipment.
  • Foster positive relationships with customers and other on-site companies.
  • Adhere to the build schedule and meet project deadlines.
  • Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Education: high school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience: field service experience preferred, but not required.
  • Able to travel and work 8-12 hours daily in outdoor conditions.
  • Proficient with power and hand tools for equipment installation and enclosure assembly.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude when working with other trades.
  • Strong time-management skills to meet tight schedules.
  • Effective communicator with on-site team, other trades, and management.
  • Skilled in problem-solving.
