Job Title: Field Service Engineer / Technician
Location: Remote (IL, IA, WI)

Job Summary:
Seeking a hands-on Field Service Engineer/Technician with experience in power distribution systems (480V–38kV). This role involves installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of low and medium voltage equipment in a high-travel field environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, test, commission, and start-up LV/MV power distribution equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical control circuits, relays, and breakers
  • Work on switchgear, high-voltage and SF₆ gas circuit breakers
  • Perform maintenance, training, and support activities at client sites
  • Support Greenfield & Brownfield projects across the U.S.
  • Travel up to 80% (national)

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED + 4+ years relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of LV/MV systems and switchgear
  • Experience with relays, circuit breakers, and high-voltage testing
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety standards
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
  • Field service experience (3–5 years)
  • Experience with protection relays, SF₆ breakers, and testing
  • Certifications: OSHA 30, NFPA 70E, NETA/NICET, MSHA, TWIC
