Job description

Position: Traveling Field Service Engineer

Location: Chandler, AZ, 85226

Duration: 12+ months of contract

Pay range: $30/Hr-$35/Hr + Travel Allowances

Job Description:

Looking for Field Service Engineers to join a leading equipment manufacturer within the semiconductor industry. This individual will be responsible for traveling to different sites to do installations of the equipment. The first 15 days they will designate what tool set they will be working on and what customers they will be helping do installations for. From there, the first 30 days they will be scheduled for a 3-week training. They will then be traveling every 6-8 weeks to different locations to install the equipment, where they will go home after week 6 each time for an admin week. On top of installations, they will be assisting in troubleshooting, repairs and routine maintenance on the equipment.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Comfortable with 80% travel
  • They will be traveling for 6-8 weeks to do the installs – They will come home every 6 weeks for an admin week then fly back out.
  • Experience with maintenance, troubleshooting, or repairing equipment
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical systems

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

  • Experience working with / troubleshooting robotic equipment.
  • Experience supporting semiconductor equipment
  • Military experience in the following MOS:
  • Avionics Technician
  • Load Master
  • Electronics Technician
  • Vehicle Tech
