Job description

Job Summary

This role is responsible for accessing, evaluating and restoring residential and commercial appliances retrieved from disaster scenarios. Restoration may include disassembly, cleaning of interior and exterior, reassembly and testing the equipment for working quality. Periodic travel may be required throughout Southeast Michigan and overnight travel to customer locations across the United States. The length of travel could be from 1-3 weeks. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, customer focused, and Microsoft office capable.

Responsibilities
  • Testing and validating consumer amp; commercial appliances.
  • Access equipment retrieved from disaster.
  • Restore equipment to its pre-loss condition.
  • Disassembly and reassembly of equipment.
Requirements
  • Must have own reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.
  • Must be able to Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be customer presentable and capable of professional communication.
  • Experience with repairing and troubleshooting of residential appliances.
  • Experience with repairing and troubleshooting of the following commercial appliances:
    • Coolers
    • Freezers
    • Ice machines
    • Ovens
    • Stoves
