Job description

Rinvio is hiring a Traveling Construction Robotics Lead for field leadership for autonomous construction equipment deployments. This is a travel-heavy field role based near the Houston, TX market.


Pay: $115,000-$125,000/year, based on experience

Location: Houston, TX area; candidates should live within reasonable distance of a major airport

Schedule: Heavy weekly travel to project sites; schedule may vary by deployment and site needs

Type: Contract


Responsibilities:

- Lead field deployment of robotic/autonomous construction equipment on active jobsites

- Coordinate with site teams, operators, field leadership, and technical support to keep deployments safe and productive

- Operate, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain heavy equipment, sensors, electronics, and field hardware

- Document field issues, reproduce failures, communicate clearly, and help improve deployment practices

- Represent Rinvio professionally while supporting travel-based field assignments


Requirements:

- Construction, heavy equipment, machinery, field service, robotics, or autonomous equipment experience

- 5+ years of hands-on experience repairing, maintaining, operating, or supporting heavy equipment or complex machinery preferred

- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort with field troubleshooting, tools, sensors, electronics, and diagnostics

- Ability to communicate professionally with operators, construction teams, customers, and technical support teams

- Willingness to travel weekly and work in changing jobsite conditions

- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to lift up to 60 lbs

- Welding, fabrication, hydraulics, soldering, electrical, GPS/machine control, or construction technology experience is a plus
