Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a National Internal Traveler RN, you will be a direct clinical registered nurse providing independent patient care within your scope of practice.
Daily, you will utilize your advanced patient care skills, continuously enhancing your nursing knowledge, skills, and behaviors through education and involvement beyond basic job requirements.
Success in this role requires exceptional clinical expertise, strong adaptability, a proactive approach to professional development, and a steadfast commitment to independent, high-quality patient care in dynamic settings.

  • Provide independent patient care as a National Internal Traveler RN
  • Continuously enhance nursing knowledge and skills beyond basic job requirements
  • Exhibit exceptional clinical expertise, adaptability, and commitment to quality care
  • Utilize evidence-based practice and critical thinking for holistic patient care
  • Collaborate effectively with interprofessional teams for optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain accountability for practice and foster a respectful, trusting environment
Job Requirements

Required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as registered nurse in specialty area(s) (e.g., medical/surgical, telemetry, intensive care, emergency department, operating room, post-anesthesia recovery, pediatrics, maternal-child health) 
  • Associate Of Nursing

  • Basic Life Support and ACLS (American Heart Association only)
