Job description

We are delighted to announce that we are offering a Direct Hire Traveler Program for experienced nurses! This program will offer premium rates and the chance for you to utilize your nursing skills in targeted specialties within South County Health. Experienced RNs will commit to 13-week float assignments with a commitment to work 36 or 48 hours/week across our Med/Surge, Telemetry, and Orthopedic floors.
As a Direct Hire Traveler Nurse, you will be responsible for coordinating total nursing care for patients, participates in patient and family teaching, and provides leadership by working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary approach in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting. Provides comprehensive care for the life span of patients, from infants to geriatrics. Effectively delivers patient care through Nursing Process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, Implementation and Evaluation.
What you'll need to qualify:
  • Current licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island
  • Minimum 3 years of acute care experience
  • Valid BLS from American Safety/American Heart Association
  • Willingness to float to the units stated above
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to work flexible shifts including nights
