Description

American Traveler is seeking a Travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a TX or compact RN license, TNCC certification, and at least 1 year of ED experience.

Details
  • Emergency Department with 30 physical beds and 8 hall beds
  • Patient ratio of 1:4
  • Uses Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
  • Meditech EMR system
  • 12-hour shifts from 11a-11p over a 13-week assignment
  • Every other weekend required
  • No floating required
Requirements
  • Active TX or compact RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience
  • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
  • ENPC certification preferred
  • No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
  • US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
  • One professional reference required
Additional Information
  • Responsibilities include NIH stroke assessments, IV/blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
  • Compassion, empathy, and a team player mindset are valued traits for this role
  • Royal blue scrub attire required
  • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
