Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU position at a Level 1 facility, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 12 months of CSICU/CVICU experience.

Details
  • Cardiac surgery intensive care unit (CSICU/CVICU) setting within a Level 1 facility
  • Day shift: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00) and night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–7:00)
  • Epic EMR required — no exceptions
  • 13-week contract
Requirements
  • Active VA or Compact RN license required
  • Minimum 12 months of CSICU/CVICU experience required
  • CSICU/CVICU experience at a Level 1 facility required
  • Epic proficiency required
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school required (ACEN or CCNE accreditation accepted); diploma, Associates, and BSN graduates are all eligible
  • BSN preferred
  • Two professional references from supervisor level or above required for consideration

  • Candidates must not have been employed by VCU Health within the previous 12 months
  • Drug, tobacco, and smoke-free workplace — smoking is not permitted anywhere on campus
  • Natural nail policy is enforced at this facility
