Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Salem, Virginia.

Job Description & Requirements

Travel RN โ€“ Mother Baby / Nursery (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM โ€“ 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care in a Maternity Care Center setting, including labor and delivery, post-partum, and newborn care
  • Manage couplet care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 3 couplets per nurse; 1:1 for active labor, Pitocin, and epidural patients
  • Assist with cesarean sections in circulator, first assist, or scrub roles as applicable
  • Perform and support OBED triage, inductions, and midwife-assisted deliveries
  • Utilize Corometrics monitoring equipment and document in Centricity Perinatal and Meditech EMR systems
  • Float within the unit as needed; no facility-wide floating required
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum 2 years of OB experience
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification required
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
  • AWHONN certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
  • Cesarean section experience as circulator, first assist, or scrub technician
  • Energetic, self-directed personality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced maternity setting
