Job Description: Reporting to the Manager of Enterostomal Therapy, the responsibilities of the Enterostomal Therapist Educator will include: provide in-patient education and care for Enterostomal Therapy Patients. This will include liaison with families, physicians, staff nurses, and community agencies. Provide individual outpatient treatment and education for patients and families. Promote continuing staff nurse involvement in patient education through effective communication, development of resource materials, and provision of inservice education. Participate in program administration (program development, planning, quality improvement and evaluation). Participate in research and evaluation projects.
