RCIS - Cardiac EP Lab Specialist
Shift: 5x8, 4x10, 6am - 7pm w/ Weekends and holiday as needed by unit.
Employment Type: Travel, 13-Weeks
Position Overview: MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrophysiologist to join a prestigious healthcare team. As an Electrophysiologist, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with cardiac arrhythmias and other electrical disturbances of the heart. Under supervision, the EP offers technical support to physicians during Electrophysiology procedures. Duties include scrubbing, hemodynamic monitoring, stimulation, and circulating, applying clinical knowledge, technical expertise, and professional judgment in line with departmental standards. Provides patient care, assessments, procedural instructions, and maintains comprehensive procedure records.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic electrophysiology studies.
  • Conduct catheter ablations for various arrhythmias.
  • Implant pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs), and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices.
  • Provide outpatient and inpatient consultation services.
  • Interpret test results and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on cardiac conditions and treatment options.
  • Participate in research, clinical trials, and academic activities as appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited AMA school is a plus
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
  • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES); OR Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT(R)); OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
  • Maintains a State License as a general radiographer.
  • Epic experience required.
  • BLS required.
