Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Job Description & Requirements

Requirements: "Interventional Technologist - 4X10's 
BLS / ACLS required
Manager WILL consider candidates with NO Travel and NO Trauma experience
13 or 26 week contract available 
call as needed, rotating day off per week

Candidates must have completed one of the following ( entry into practice) education programs : 
( specific program taken must be clearly noted on resume)

*Associate Degree or above program in Radiologic Technology OR *2 year RCIS program"

Required: RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below                
Required: One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six monthsโ€™ travel                
Required: All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist
Job Summary:
The Interventional Technologist I assists physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose, monitor, and treat simple to complex conditions, defects, and diseases without surgery. This role is designed for individuals gaining experience in Interventional Radiology or Invasive Cardiology or experienced imaging professionals seeking to transition into this discipline.
Required Qualifications:
 

  • Knowledge and skill in applying principles of medical imaging, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
  • Understanding of anatomy and physiology related to specialty imaging procedures.
  • Ability to perform, post-process, analyze, and annotate study data or procedure documentation.
  • Consistent application of sterile field practices ensuring patient safety.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age and patient populations served.
  • Understanding and application of HIPAA guidelines and standards.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete clinical or non-clinical work assignments.
  • Capability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills.
  • Dependability in reporting to work as scheduled.
  • Sensitivity to patientsโ€™ physical and psychological needs.
  • Accuracy in maintaining records and working with names, numbers, and codes.


Required Education:
 

  • Graduate of a post-secondary educational program in health science (e.g., cardiovascular technology, ultrasound, radiologic technology, or paramedic/EMT) as defined by ARRT or CCI.
  • Completion of JRCERT-accredited Military Educational Program accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.


Required Certifications & Licensure:
 

  • Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
  • ARRT(RT), RCES, or RCIS certification required within 18 months of hire.
