Procon is seeking a Space Planner to support a high-visibility federal program providing facility planning, occupancy management, and space utilization services. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside government and industry professionals on mission-critical facilities, supporting long-term infrastructure planning through space audits, occupancy analysis, and strategic workplace planning.
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Facilities Management, Engineering, Planning, or a related field with 6+ years of experience, or 10+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

  • Experience using ARCHIBUS CAFM software.

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Experience conducting facility space audits, occupancy assessments, and utilization studies.

  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and floor plans.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, project management, and customer service skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience supporting senior leadership.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally, including occasional overseas travel.

  • Experience supporting Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, or other federal agencies is highly preferred.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Conduct space audits, occupancy assessments, and facility utilization studies.

  • Gather and analyze customer space requirements and develop space planning solutions.

  • Create and modify floor plans and space layouts using AutoCAD and Revit.

  • Perform field measurements and validate existing building conditions.

  • Maintain accurate occupancy, utilization, and space inventory data using ARCHIBUS.

  • Prepare utilization, vacancy, and occupancy reports and planning recommendations.

  • Coordinate with government stakeholders, project managers, engineers, designers, and furniture teams.

  • Review architectural drawings, blueprints, and construction documents.

  • Support facility planning studies, compliance documentation, and relocation initiatives.

  • Prepare briefings, presentations, and reports for senior leadership.

  • Manage multiple planning projects while supporting domestic and international facility assessments.
