Reporting to the Retail Project Market Manager, the Travel Retail Project Merchandiser position is responsible for traveling to assist other Anderson Merchandisers associates in the execution of client projects. These include implementing planograms accurately, placing new items, correcting voids, and conducting special merchandising initiatives. The ideal candidate should be proactive, adaptable, detail-oriented, capable of teamwork or independent work, and possess outstanding organizational and communication abilities.

What would you do in this role?

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Must demonstrate and maintain a commitment to quality of work to meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Perform product pulls, stocking, merchandising, and image captures according to provided instructions.
  • Execute all tasks, projects, resets, and displays accurately and precisely.
  • Merchandise and execute all assigned projects with required quality and accuracy to maintain account aesthetics.
  • Must be comfortable utilizing Technology (i.e. smartphones and handheld devices) effectively and consistently.
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of all company policies.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills to communicate daily activities, sales opportunities, and success or potential barriers.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company, client, and retailer information.
  • Work flexible shifts (am or pm) based on store requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Travel is required and could be up to 50%. Nights, overnight stays, and occasional weekend work would be required.
  • 1+ year of Customer Service experience preferred. Prior sales agent, retail and reset responsibility experience preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalency certification.
  • Ability to lift objects and product up to 50 lbs., with frequent lifting/carrying of objects/products up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
  • Must be willing and able to work in cold environmental conditions (i.e., refrigerated and freezer sections of retail stores) for limited periods of time
  • Work while sitting, standing, or walking, with fine manipulation of hands and/or fingers, bending, twisting, squatting, and climbing.
  • Must be able to stand on a step stool.
  • Valid driver's license and access to automobile liability insurance.
  • Access to a computer, internet, printing capabilities, and email.
