Job description

Job Overview
Apollo Men's Health is seeking a reliable and compassionate Medical Assistant to support our clinical team and ensure a smooth patient experience. The ideal candidate will float between positions as needed, assisting providers, supporting front desk operations, and helping wherever the clinic needs coverage.
Clinical Duties
  • Perform venipuncture and blood draws safely and accurately
  • Administer intramuscular (IM), subcutaneous (SubQ), and other injections as directed by providers
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Record vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and weight

  • Assist providers during medical procedures and patient visits
  • Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Patient Care
  • Educate patients on treatments, medications, and follow-up instructions
  • Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed during their visit
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and professionalism
Clinic Support
  • Prepare exam rooms and medical equipment
  • Maintain proper sanitation and infection control standards
  • Stock and organize medical supplies
  • Assist with patient check-in/check-out if needed
  • Provide support at the front desk when needed
  • Maintain clean and organized clinical areas
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of Medical Assistant experience

  • Experience with blood draws and injections
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced clinical environment
