The Travel Center Environmental Services/Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior of the Travel Center.

Bosselman Travel Center offers on-demand pay (access to earned but not yet paid wages) through:

Responsibilities
  • Sweeps, mops, scrubs, and vacuums hallways, stairs and retail space, including waxing and stripping floors.
  • Maintains building, performing minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
  • Paints inside and outside the facility.
  • Notifies management concerning need for major repairs or additions to lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment.
  • Notifies management of any customer complaints.
  • Clears snow and debris from sidewalk.
  • Operates power equipment including: power washer, mower, etc.
  • Ensures the cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance of the Travel Center complex meets company standards.
  • Maintains restrooms, checking for cleanliness and re-stocking supplies.
  • Completes entire work list each shift.
  • Keeps all cleaning supplies stocked, labeled, and properly stored.
  • Wipes down all equipment and game machines each shift and thoroughly cleans once per week.
  • Practices all company safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for employees and customers.
  • Answers radio calls promptly.
  • Ensures parking lot is free of trash and debris.
  • Cleans/details dispensers each shift.
  • Provides friendly and competent customer service.
  • Reports for work in a timely manner when scheduled.

Additional Job Duties:

  • Assists in other duties, as assigned.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):

  • General maintenance and/or custodial experience preferred.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must possess a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
  • Must be flexible with the ability to adapt to change when required.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills.
  • Must be well groomed and properly attired.
  • Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and any shift needed.
  • Must have reliable transportation and phone.
  • Must be able to communicate in English. - IF APPLICABLE
  • Able and willing to deliver friendly, courteous, and prompt customer service.
  • Able and willing to work cooperatively with other team members.
