Job Summary
Accomplishes various production assembly functions that require precision and attention to detail. Assemble and disassemble circuit boards or sub-assemblies and efficiently coat surfaces of circuit boards with various conformal coating products. These processes include cleaning and preparation of surfaces before coating, mixing coating material, and coating parts with a machine, by dipping, or by brush. All jobs must be processed in accordance with verbal or written instructions, and by following engineering drawings and other documentation.
Essential Functions
  • Performs in a diverse team environment. Interpersonal and communication skills are required to share and receive instruction, along with updates and general information.

  • Reads and works from detailed process sheets and drawings. Computer skills are required to support the retrieval of drawings and work instructions as well as other job activities.

  • Competent to perform job duties with limited assistance

  • Accountable and open to feedback, able to learn and improve

  • Understand and meet department expectations related to metrics, quality and efficiency and company expectations

  • Enter and maintain accurate production records

  • Capable of basic troubleshooting

  • Conforms with ESD policy, safety practices and ISO procedures & FOD protection requirements.

  • Works with light chemicals for sealing PCB boards in a controlled environment. Will use staking material, various solutions for PCB cleaning, and specific conformal coating materials and chemicals.

  • Cleans and prepares surfaces before coating, mixing coating material, and coating parts with a machine, by dipping, or by brush.

  • Masks and de-masks, cleans, and mixes solvents.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Able to navigate basic company software (Intranet, Email, Teams)

  • Operate tools and production equipment to disassemble and assemble electronic products

  • Required to utilize hand tools such as paint brushes, tweezers, and other similar tools

  • Ability to work under darkened room environment with black lights.

  • Exhibits excellent hand/eye coordination necessary for precision work.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus

  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with team members

  • May require lifting up to 25 lbs and standing for extended periods of time.

Required Qualifications
  • Must be a US Person (US Citizen, person granted US Permanent Resident Card or any individual who is granted status as a "protected person")

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Preferred Qualifications
  • IPC certification
