Position Overview

Noble Counseling, LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team in Portland, Oregon. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled clinician to provide essential mental health care to individuals dealing with trauma-related challenges. This role is fully remote, providing you with the flexibility to work from your own home while connecting with clients through telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and trauma-informed mental health assessments, carefully evaluating clients’ trauma histories to determine suitable treatment modalities.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resiliency, and ongoing support.
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to assist clients in processing their trauma experiences.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at empowering patients and promoting healing in a collaborative environment.
  • Engage in active communication with psychiatrists and other health professionals to ensure a holistic treatment approach for our patients.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention for trauma-related emergencies, supporting clients in high-stress situations.
  • Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to enhance understanding and support.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards in mental health.
  • Contribute to team consultations and engage in professional development activities focused on trauma-informed practices and emerging research.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with individuals impacted by various trauma-related disorders. You will provide support to patients recovering from complex, compounded traumatic experiences, ensuring each client receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs. The role is particularly suited for therapists who can employ trauma-informed techniques to build trust and facilitate healing.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.
  • Proven understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-focused treatment methodologies.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a supportive and non-judgmental approach to client interaction.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and related technology in clinical practice.
  • A desire to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma survivors is preferred.
  • Familiarity with contemporary research and best practices in trauma therapy is highly desirable.
  • Experience in delivering group therapy and educational workshops for clients or their families is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
