Job description

DESCRIPTION CURRENTLY SEEKING: certified instructors to teach cardio and strength exercise formats. Shoreview's fitness program offers classes for beginning to advanced participants. The various classes include cardio-kick, cycling, strength training, kettlebells, ballet fitness, yoga, pilates, and dance-based fitness classes.

Instructors follow fitness guidelines established by the American College of Sports Medicine to provide safe, effective workouts. DUTIES INCLUDE Instruct group fitness classes, beginning and ending on time Prepare equipment and music for classes as necessary Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form Assist participants, answer questions, and provide a positive customer experience. Keep supervisor informed of customer and facility needs Follow all policies related to the position and facility QUALIFICATIONS Previous teaching experience and current Nationally recognized certifications are required Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent OTHER Hours: Morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend hours are available *** FREE Community Center Membership.
