Job description

MRI Technologist (Contract)

Location: New York 14642
Pay: $2,305 – $2,581/week


Schedule
  • 12-hour Weekend Day Shifts:

    • Saturday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

    • Sunday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

    • Monday: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM

  • Holidays, on-call, and callback per unit needs


Position Summary & Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI scanners efficiently and safely (GE scanner experience required)

  • Prepare and position patients; explain procedures to ensure comfort

  • Perform IV injections for scans (injection certification required)

  • Coordinate with physicians to provide timely diagnostic imaging

  • Maintain accurate documentation and patient confidentiality

  • Maintain a clean and safe scanning environment

  • Provide patient care as needed


Requirements
  • Experience:

    • Minimum 2 years MRI technologist experience

    • Level 1 trauma center experience

  • Licensure/Certification:

    • NYS Radiologic Technologist license (or willing to obtain after starting)

    • ARRT certification or equivalent (preferred)

    • Injection certification (required)

    • BLS (AHA only)

  • Additional:

    • Ability to stand for extended periods

    • Strong patient care and communication skills
