Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Registered Nurse on the 2 South Ortho Trauma Unit, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care while working alongside a multidisciplinary team committed to positive patient outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to develop specialized orthopedic and trauma nursing skills while caring for a diverse patient population.

What you will do in this role:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Provide compassionate nursing care to orthopedic, trauma, and post-surgical patients.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and hospital policies.
• Monitor patient progress and promptly communicate changes in condition to the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery expectations, and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
• Promote a safe environment focused on quality outcomes and patient satisfaction.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
