Job description

We are in HOSPITALITY BUSINESS (Hotel/Motel) in Newark, DE 19713.

We are looking for handy man / property maintenance Tech PART TIME or FULL TIME for Hotel/Motel who can start immediately in Newark, DE.

Responsibilities

General over all property maintenance including but not limited to drywall repairs, roof repairs ,carpentry, Painting, light plumbing/electrical, parking lot maintenance ,Trash/Garbage Removal, Snow Removal and general handy man work

  • Install or repair sheet rock , Paint.
  • Replace basic electrical fixtures, light switches, receptacles, light bulbs and fixtures.
  • Perform minor plumbing functions.
  • Ensure Hotel Locks,HVAC, lights, plumbing and electrical systems are maintained in proper working order for our guests
  • Maintain the exterior of the hotel daily, including exterior trash receptacles, ash trays/smoker stations, and parking lot .
  • Flip mattresses and move furniture as assigned.
  • Assist hotel guests with any guest room issues in plumbing , electrical, etc.
  • Maintain swimming pool, pool equipment, maintain fitness center and equipment.
  • Maintain the curb appeal by snow removal, lawn care, gardening and trash removal.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Handy Man/Maintenance: 5 years (Required)
  • Maintenance: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Required)
