Trappers often work outdoors in remote or rugged environments, sometimes during early mornings, nights, and varying weather conditions, which requires physical endurance and adaptability. The role can involve hiking long distances, setting and checking traps, and safely handling wildlife, so physical strength and dexterity are valuable assets. Team structure may vary, but many trappers work independently or with small teams, occasionally collaborating with conservation officers or landowners.
