Position Summary : The Transportation Driver at Zinnia Health plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of clients to and from various locations, including medical appointments, therapy sessions, support group meetings, and other relevant destinations. This position requires a responsible and compassionate individual who understands the importance of maintaining a supportive and secure environment for individuals undergoing substance abuse treatment.
Schedule : Full Time / 40 hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Client Transportation : Safely transport clients to scheduled appointments, therapy sessions, and other relevant destinations. Ensure a secure and comfortable transportation environment for clients, maintaining sensitivity to the unique needs of individuals in substance abuse treatment.
Communication and Coordination : Maintain effective communication with treatment facility staff to coordinate transportation schedules and ensure alignment with client treatment plans. Provide updates on transportation status and report any issues or concerns promptly.
Documentation : Maintain accurate records of transportation schedules, mileage, and any incidents that may occur during transportation. Complete required documentation in a timely and organized manner.
Requirements :
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • Experience working in a healthcare or substance abuse treatment setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit professionalism.
  • Compassion and empathy towards individuals undergoing substance abuse treatment

Minimum of 3 years of lived experience with substance use and/or mental health disorders for self, family member, or loved one, and the ability to appropriately share experience with clients. Someone who views clients' needs with a high priority and who would be a strong advocate for them with other treatment providers. Someone who espouses a strong desire to help others.
