Job Title: Distribution Manager

Reports to: Regional Distribution Manager
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking an experienced Distribution Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of our distribution operations. Your main goal will be to ensure the efficient and effective distribution of our products while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of supply chain and distribution processes, and the ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient distribution strategies that align with company objectives.
  • Manage daily operations of the distribution center including staff scheduling, training, and development.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure product stock is adequate for all distribution channels.
  • Liaise with various departments to achieve optimal inventory control and management.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Analyze logistics data to optimize shipping and transport procedures.
  • Maintain relationships with transportation and logistics providers.
  • Prepare and manage distribution budgets.
  • Manage delivery performance, metrics and seek ways to improve logistics operations.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Logistics, related field, or related experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a distribution manager role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong knowledge of distribution and logistics management software, SAP, Samsara.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team in a high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with superb analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with safety and performance standards in the industry.

Salary will be commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package including paid time off is offered with this position.
