Traffic Coordinator Job Description
Responsible for all aspects of routing, shipping, and tracking of outbound/inbound orders. Informs transporters for freight pick up and ensures all documentation is accurate on shipping paperwork to include preparing and verifying bills of lading. Requires a minimum of high school diploma or its equivalent, preferable some college education with 3-5 years’ experience in this field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within this industry. Is computer literate and able to correspond in writing as well as verbally in a professional manner. SAP knowledgeable preferred. Takes instruction well.
