Tuesday - Saturday 7:00am thru 3:30pm / Monday - Friday 9:00am thru 5:00pm
Position Purpose:
Food and food service delivery Drivers fulfill a critical role in the country's food supply chain. Our delivery drivers not only make sure the customers' products arrive at their destination at the arranged times and in good condition, but they are the face of our company - building lasting relationships with our customers!
As a Coordinator, Transportation, you will play a vital role in ensuring our drivers is equipped with the information needed to deliver all products on time and safely. The Coordinator, Transportation supports the transportation team in improving production processes and maintaining daily business. This includes tracking, calculating, and coordinating a variety of driver and route information along with performing administrative tasks. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
  • Tracks, calculates, and coordinates driver and route information. Performs driver check-in.
  • Answers and coordinates incoming transportation related phone calls.
  • Maintains and tracks all DOT required files and other reports (vehicle inspection, fuel, and mileage).
  • Tracks, inputs, and processes driver payroll data. Performs other related duties as assigned.
