Job #: 2090788 Apex Systems is currently hiring a NOC Specialist role with one of our Government clients. This will be a ‘6-month contract to hire’ opportunity. You’ll work 5 days onsite each week in Bluemont, VA. Location: Bluemont, VA
Onsite expectation: 5 days onsite per week, 4PM-12AM
Clearance Level: Will be processed for Public Trust (DHS EOD)
Contract Rate: $40-45/HR W2 Qualified candidates will have the following experience and skills:
Experience: 5+ years of related professional experience. Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Cisco Voice Over IP, Avaya Aura Audio Conference Bridge, Cisco Call Manager, Cisco CUCM Unity, Avaya PBX, multiplexers, Cisco switches and routers, TCP/IP, and Windows.
• Ability to plan, evaluate, and configure routers, bridges, and other network devices.
• Expertise in monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, and managing voice, data, and satellite networks.
• Experience with the operation and management of systems associated with satellite tracking and providing digital data services. Day to Day Responsibilities: • Monitor, troubleshoot, configure, and manage voice, data, and satellite networks.
• Provide Tier 2 expert assistance for operating and managing the transport network.
• Plan, evaluate, and configure routers, bridges, and other network devices.
• Manage systems for satellite tracking and provide digital data services to mobile and portable units.
• Support new hardware and software acquisition and installation.
• Ensure WAN services at fixed and disaster sites are operational and assist in resolving interface issues.
• Perform shift work, overtime, and weekend tours as required, approximately every 8-9 weeks.
