JOB SUMMARY
This is a temporary seasonal position
A Production Worker is responsible for meeting quality standards and deadlines for products. They check for defects, assemble products, monitor manufacturing equipment, and closely follow safety procedures to prevent accidents in environments where materials may be hazardous.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Start-up and operate equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and adjust equipment as necessary.
  • Understand and follow all department instructions and procedures.
  • Visually inspect material for defects
  • Control scrap
  • Must be able to count and record production as necessary.
  • Perform daily housekeeping and cleanliness procedures.
  • Follow all ISO, environmental, and safety procedures.
  • Perform mechanical works using hand/power tools to construct and manufacture products.
  • Pack and secure materials for transport
  • Working as part of a production team, operate efficiently and effectively to ensure production targets are met, liaise with maintenance of any machine issues to ensure machine downtime is kept to a minimum.
  • Other duties as assigned
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • H.S. Diploma required.
  • Experience with hand tools, wood working, cabinetry, carpentry would be a plus. Drills, saws, routers, sanders etc.

  • Requires the ability to work independently, or as part of a team.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work in other areas.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have good attention to details and accuracy
