Job description

The Opportunity
As an Analytics Specialist Intern supporting Procurement and Transportation, you will assist with data analysis and reporting across raw materials, purchasing, purchase orders, freight, and shipping. You will gain hands-on experience using business-intelligence tools to develop reports, identify trends, measure performance, and support data-informed decisions. This experience may lead to future opportunities in business analytics, procurement, transportation, logistics, or business intelligence.

  • Collect, organize, and analyze procurement and transportation data.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and performance metrics.
  • Use Power BI and Excel to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze raw-material spending, purchase orders, and supplier activity.
  • Evaluate freight costs, shipping performance, and transportation trends.
  • Support data validation, reporting accuracy, and process improvements.
     

The Program Details

  • Full-time schedule (40 hours per week)
  • Internship duration: May-August 2027 (12 weeks)
  • Practical, hands-on learning with MAPEI's Purchasing & Logistics team
  • Host location: Deerfield Beach, FL
