TYLin is seeking a passionate Transportation Engineering Designer to join our growing Detroit office. This is an exciting opportunity for an early to mid-career engineer-whether you're a newly minted PE, or an EIT on track to earn licensure in the next year-to make a meaningful impact on high-visibility transit and transportation projects throughout the state.Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You'll Do

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced engineers to deliver infrastructure that improves safety, accessibility, and community connection. You will gain hands-on experience with:

  • Roadway and highway geometric design.

  • Site civil engineering, including grading and drainage.

  • Utility design and coordination.

  • Supporting transportation and transit design packages for the State of Michigan, MDOT, and the City of Detroit.

  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to bring projects from planning through design and delivery.
