Overview
ABOUT THE POSITION
VHB is hiring Transportation Design Interns to join our team in Atlanta, GA for the Spring 2027 semester. This position would be full-time (40 hrs./week).
Responsibilities
  • Effectively interact with numerous VHB staff to advance projects in a timely manner
  • Assist with engineering calculations, analysis and report preparation
  • Field investigation, data collection, survey quality review
  • Assist with completion of preliminary and final construction plans
  • Quantity take-offs and calculations

Skills and Attributes
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to independently manage multiple tasks and interact appropriately and positively with clients
  • Self-motivated with attention to detail

Qualifications
  • Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering
  • Interest in transportation design and/or traffic engineering
