A Transportation Design Intern assists professional designers and engineers in creating concepts and designs for vehicles such as cars, trains, or public transit. Their work may involve sketching, 3D modeling, and using design software to visualize new ideas. Interns often participate in brainstorming sessions, help develop prototypes, and conduct research on trends and user needs.
