Job description

Indiana University Health and the Indiana University School of Medicine are seeking a Chest Radiologist to join a dynamic and collaborative academic radiology practice. This faculty position offers the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care within one of the nation's leading academic health systems while contributing to cutting-edge research, medical education, and innovation. The successful candidate will join a nationally recognized Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences and work closely with multidisciplinary teams across Indiana University Health's statewide network. Responsibilities include interpretation of thoracic imaging studies, participation in multidisciplinary conferences, teaching trainees, and engagement in scholarly activities aligned with the academic mission of Indiana University School of Medicine.
Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret a full spectrum of thoracic imaging studies, including:
    • Chest radiography
    • Thoracis CT and CT angiography
    • High Resolution chest CT
    • Lung cancer screening CT
    • Thoracic MRI (as applicable)
  • Collaborate with pulmonology, thoracic surgery, oncology, infectious disease, and transplant services
  • Provide consultative support to referring physicians and healthcare teams.
  • Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
Qualifications
  • MD/DO
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited radiology program.
  • Board Certified / Board Eligible.
  • Eligible to medical licensure in the State of Indiana.
