Using whole group, small-group, and individualized instruction, they analyze real-time data, identify root causes of misconceptions, and design responsive lessons that strengthen conceptual understanding, procedural fluency, and mathematical confidence. Grounded in our culture of Rigor and Love, intervention prioritizes scholar voice, discourse, and productive struggle so students see themselves as mathematicians and build lasting resilience. In close partnership with families, classroom teachers, and school leaders, Math Interventionists ensure scholars receive aligned, cohesive support that accelerates growth and expands future opportunity.

  • Design and adapt targeted math lessons that address root misconceptions and strengthen conceptual understanding and mathematical reasoning, incorporating blended learning platforms to provide adaptive practice and skill reinforcement.
  • Collaborate closely with math teachers to ensure intervention aligns to core instruction and upcoming units.
  • Build culturally responsive classrooms that affirm scholar identity, promote discourse, and cultivate mathematical confidence and resilience.
  • Communicate regularly with families to share progress, strategies, and ways to support learning at home.
  • Participate in MTSS meetings and contribute actionable insights to support school-wide academic decision-making.
  • Support advisory, tutoring blocks, and additional student supports as needed, promoting student agency through goal setting, progress conferencing, and academic skill-building.
  • Model RMP's PEAK values while maintaining high expectations, urgency, and deep belief in every scholar's brilliance.
