A Transmission Line Inspector is responsible for inspecting and assessing the condition of electrical transmission lines, poles, towers, and related equipment. They identify potential hazards, structural issues, or maintenance needs to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the power grid. A typical workday for a Transmission Line Inspector involves traveling to various transmission sites, visually and instrumentally inspecting lines and support structures, documenting findings, and reporting maintenance needs.
