Job description

Nightwing is seeking an experienced Proposal Volume Lead/Writer to support cleared proposals in Dulles, VA.
Our Proposal Volume Lead/Writers:
Write clear, persuasive, and articulate proposal sections
Creates compelling technical proposals that win over potential clients
Translate technical and other ideas into understandable text
Rewrite and review proposal sections and related proposal documents
Work with internal teams to gather information and translate the information into compliant technical responses
Convey strategy in concise and compelling narrative text
Research, write, and organize information in a professional and credible manner
Review products, services, and/or business ideas
Attend meetings with stakeholders to translate requirements into proposals
Prioritize responsibilities to meet deadlines
Make edits and revisions as per the requirements
Maintain consistency by following company policies
Work with the design team to create compelling visuals
Give presentations in gates and other proposal milestones
Edit and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency
Develop and maintain proposal templates and guidelines
Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, English, or a related field
5+ years of previous proposal writing experience
Conceptualize, design, and plan to prepare reports and proposals
Strong research and analytical skills
Excellent writing and editing skills, with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Suite
Excellent computer and organizational skills
Excellent written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills
Current TS/SCI Clearance
Salary & Benefits
The salary associated with this position ($122,000-$253,000) is commensurate with the selected candidate's qualifications, years of relevant experience, and demonstrated level of expertise. Compensation will be determined based on these factors to ensure alignment with skills, responsibilities, and market standards.
