Job description

Launch Careers. Open Doors. Change Lives.

The finish line of the Job Corps journey is really a starting lineย  and you'll be the one who helps students cross it. As a Career Transition Services (CTS) Specialist, you'll provide the transitional support and placement services that lead students to full-time jobs, higher education, or advanced training, turning hard-earned skills into real, lasting opportunity.

This is a role for a relationship-builder and problem-solver: someone who connects with students, opens doors with employers, and takes real satisfaction in seeing a young person land the job or program that changes their trajectory.

Why Join Us? Make a Real Impact!

Job Corps is a transformative program that provides education, vocational training, and career readiness to young adults. In this role, you'll be there at the most pivotal moment โ€” helping students overcome transitional barriers and step confidently into careers, further education, or advanced training that shape the rest of their lives.

What You'll Do

Guide Students Through Career Transition

Provide students with comprehensive, individualized case management to identify and remediate transitional barriers. Establish supportive, mentoring relationships during the Career Transition Phase, provide personalized career counseling, evaluate student performance, and develop, monitor, and update student transition plans to ensure successful outcomes.

Build Employer & Community Connections

Conduct effective community job development activities with key business and community leaders. Develop Center-beneficial business and community linkages that connect students with quality, industry-relevant employment opportunities, working cooperatively with Career Technical Training and Career Transition staff.

Drive Placement & Performance

Support educational and related placement goals for assigned students and help ensure the Contract meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals. Produce thorough, timely, and accurate work while maintaining strong attendance, accountability, and productivity standards.

Model Standards & Collaborate

Follow all integrity guidelines and ensure no manipulation of student data. Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH, and provide high-quality supervision that positively influences student behavior with respect and accountability. Communicate clearly, resolve problems with sound judgment, partner with staff across all departments, and accept direction from the Center Director, Duty Officer, or Shift Manager, including other duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

Required (one of the following)

โ€ข Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or a closely related field from an accredited school; OR

โ€ข Associate's degree in one of those fields from an accredited school, plus two (2) years of related experience

Also Required

โ€ข A valid in-state driver's license, meeting Company insurability requirements

Benefits & Perks

Several of the benefits below are fully sponsored by Adams and Associates, while others include company contributions to help offset costs. Details regarding coverage and contribution amounts will be provided during onboarding.

โ€ข Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)

โ€ข Matching 401(k)

โ€ข Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance

โ€ข Prescription Drug Coverage

โ€ข Flexible Spending Accounts (Health and Dependent Care)

โ€ข Life and Disability Insurance

โ€ข Paid Vacation and Holidays
