About The Position

The Account Servicing Supervisor will oversee a team of Loan Servicing Specialists and will be responsible for ensuring that the team meets their goals by providing operational support, coaching, training, and leadership throughout the loan servicing process. The Loan Servicing Supervisor will also be responsible for collecting on delinquent auto loans.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Provide training, coaching, and support to Loan Servicing Specialists.
  • Provide strategies and alternative solutions to Loan Servicing Specialists to reduce delinquency.
  • Ensure that assigned teams meet their daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Follow and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act (FDCPA).
  • Negotiate payment arrangements with borrowers, including offering suggestions as to how they can meet their obligations, proposing alternative payment methods, and establishing payment procedures.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure the borrower's commitment to pay is kept.
  • Speak to borrowers who attempt to voluntarily surrender their vehicle or to keep their vehicle while maintaining loan arrangements.
  • Accurately and professionally document account information and collection activities.
  • Utilize skip tracing tools and reference sources to identify and locate delinquent borrowers.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements:

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in the subprime auto lending industry with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership skills such as communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, planning and organizing, decision making and delegation with the ability to manage and direct the work of others.
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply federal, state, and local collections regulations.
  • Ability to interact with customers in a professional, tactful, and sensitive manner.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Available to work a flexible work schedule and overtime as needed.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is required.

Salary: $70,304.00 - $82,160.00 annually + Bonus
