Our CBM Aggregates division is a leading producer of high-quality aggregate products with twelve sand and gravel operations and quarries competing in the Southern Ontario market which consumes over 140 million tonnes of aggregate annually.

CBM Aggregates is seeking a Heavy Equipment & Plant Operator, based in St. Marys.

This position is a permanent full-time vacancy.

Hourly rate: $30.60 - $32.60

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate heavy equipment (loader, skid steer etc.), various hand tools, and other types of machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform maintenance on plant equipment as needed, including changing screens, greasing, moving equipment etc.
  • Provide customer service to aggregate haulers, as needed.
  • Liaison with contractors working on -site.
  • Follow all safety procedures and policies. 
  • Participate in ongoing health and safety initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess valid Ontario drivers' license.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Must be able to work a rotating schedule of 6am - 3pm and 2:30pm - 11:30pm.
  • Must have reliable transportation to the location (not accessible by public transit).
  • OSSGD or equivalent.
