Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Transit Patrol Driver in Camden, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location as an armed patrol professional. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter incidents, conduct routine rounds, and support security-related operations with strong communication and customer service. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license, offering the chance to work with a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

What You'll Do:

    Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors entering controlled areas, following post orders and escalation procedures when needed.
  • Support security-related operations at an aerospace and defense location by maintaining awareness of sensitive areas, assisting with incident response, and communicating clearly with site contacts and local authorities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

  • An armed guard card and/or license is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
