Job description

GENERAL FUNCTION / SUMMARY

The P&C Commercial Line Sales Agent is responsible for identifying and acquiring new business opportunities in the commercial insurance sector. This role requires a proactive, goal-driven professional with strong sales acumen and a deep understanding of commercial insurance products. The Sales Agent will build and maintain client relationships, provide tailored risk management solutions, and contribute to revenue growth.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively generates new sales leads through referrals, obtains all necessary information to turn leads into prospects and clients.
  • Present proposal to prospect and client, closes sales and completes exposure analysis.
  • Develop accounts and cross-sell products and services within the P&C Department and/or All-in-One Platform.
  • Be proficient in available to carrier rating system were provided for agency use.
  • Maintain the proper documentation for existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify carrier risk appetites, carrier information, target classes, and underwriting guidelines.
  • Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company requests on a timely basis.
  • Attend training sessions and courses to maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards while maintaining high ethical service practices.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license
  • 2+ years of experience in commercial insurance
  • Bilingual in English and one of the following: Mandarin Chinese or Thai
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and drive results.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Windows Suite and Agency Management System
  • Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities effectively.
