Job description

Job Opportunity: Neonatology Nurse Practitioner

Location: Marquette, MI

Work Environment:

Setting: Inpatient care in a Level III NICU

Position Details:
  • Reason for Coverage: Scheduling requirements
  • Start Date: August 5, 2026
  • Dates of Service: Orientation on August 5, followed by shifts from August 6-19 and ongoing
  • Availability: 10-14 days per month
Required Skills:
  • Intubation
  • Chest tube placement
  • Central line placement
  • Paracentesis
  • Spinal taps
  • Exchange transfusion
  • Thermal cooling
  • Ventilator management, including oscillators and iNO
Patient Load:

Patients Per Shift: 10

Work Schedule:
  • Day Shift: 6 AM - 6 PM at the facility
  • On-Call: 6 PM - 6 AM, available 24 hours a day
Additional Requirements:
  • Licensure: Must hold a valid Michigan license
  • EMR System: Experience with Cerner
  • Certification: NRP certified in CPR
